We at Indivisuals are happy to report that we have purchased the ‘indivisuals.nl’ domain name. Although we like to see things on an international scale and welcome European unity, we are based in The Netherlands. Most of our customers are based in The Netherlands as well, so the name ‘Indivisuals.nl’ is easier to remember.

Indivisuals just finished their short version of the Live Cinema Project.

Live Cinema is mixing in extra video and audio layers during projection. In this case a documentary about the Camel Fair at Pushkar, India. By manipulating the image and sound live, extra layers come into play and a dreamy quality is brought into the viewing experience.

Seb and Maarten went to Pushkar, India at the end of 2007 to witness and film the Pushkar Camel Fair. Having heard many stories about it and with high hopes of meeting folk musicians they set out. This video is a view of that first encounter.

This montage is the base track, so without the extra layers (yet). All the audio in this film is recorded on location. Enjoy!

Indivisuals will do the visuals on the upcoming Domstad Fusion Festival. The Festival will bring dance, music and workshops from different immigrant self help groups.

Come and see a day full of dance, music, food and workshops. Hindustani Surinams, Marron Surinams, Indian Surinams, Roma, Dutch Antilleans, Guine, Siera Leone, and Turkey, will all share the secrets of their trade and amaze you.

They day will hold workshops in dance, food, handreading, music as well explanations of different dances.

A day full of fun for the whole family!
